die brille ist echt genial überdimensioniert , aber die ein oder zwei segler die erst bei der dritten betrachtung überhaupt ewahrgenommen werden können hatte doch wirklich keine welle zu ertragen , oder ?

Keine Ahnung, ich war ja nicht mit. Aber wenn ich das mit dem Reaktionen der unmotorisierten Wassersportgemeinde hierzulande auf Passage in Gleitfahrt mit einer Mickymaus-Schüssel mal ins Verhältnis setze...hauehaueha!

This boat was running a genuine Merc Racing 28 P lab finished Bravo 1 4 blade prop @ 5050 - 5100 RPM w/ 1.5 :1 gear ratio

Just do the math (speed calculations).... You might be surprised

Das Problem war doch damals nur dass Du keine Daten vom Motor nennen konntest , wenn diese vorhanden sind , ist es recht gut "vorhersagbar" , Ihr Ungläubigen Zweifler

That's right... First of all you need some 100 % correct & verified base numbers...Objective GPS numbers, correct RPM tach, and std (no reworked) props.... Afterwards we can calculate speed with other props almost within 1-3 mph range

Unfortunatly, on these big V-bottom offshore boats > 28,5 ft & in general, you won't be able to see only a 10% slip. Thanks to our very high X dimensions and stepped hull technology, we most often see slip percentages of 12%-14%.

Labfinished props do have a little more slip then regular props, but turning 200 à 300 RPM faster giving a final higher topspeed

I have no experience with such big inboard boats! so i calculated a little bit too much?

Our boats ( 19.7ft FLetcher ) are slipping around 8-9 %

But i think your boat should be capable of making a speed of more than 120 kmh!

With perfectly rigged O/B or superfast cat's you can have less then 10% prop slip

So if you are running 8 -9 % prop slip => PERFECT

For old, big V-bottoms (mostly running 3 blades Mirage props) it is not uncommon to have 16 -20 % propslip

But remember, prop slip is very important but not the only thing... final topspeed is the goal... It's is perfectly possible that you have more slip with 1 prop then with another but finally becoming higher speed (higher RPM etc)

Your propslip calculator is very nice...you don't have to do the conversion to km/h or Mph etc

This is definitly a + 75 MPH boat... Even with 14% slip, you are already running 77 MPH (125 km/h)

I think some cleaver / surface props run with more slip , so we tested a 27" cleaver and the outboard was able to turn it. But the engine was not able to turn a 25" turbo 4 Blade , so i think the surfaceprop had much more slip , but was fast

..you don't have to do the conversion to km/h or Mph etc

some guys wanted this function , so i made it

Hallo!
Habe bis Anfang diesen Jahres eine Hurricane 370 mit einem 35 PS Mercury gehabt!
Habe ich abgegeben weil ich was Größeres haben wollte!
Ich Habe ca.63Kmh(GPS) geschafft!Mit Auslauf!!!
Sind zwar nicht ganz 65Kmh!
Aber fast!!!

ein black max an dem boot...schwupp weg isses....sieht aber gut aus..ich hab das boot damals schon in der 2. hand gesehen...
