Hallo,
auch ich hadere gerade damit, ob ich da einen Betrüger kontaktiere oder ob alles seriös ist. Sieht zunächst für mich danach aus, aber vielleicht kann weiß da jemand mehr.

Angeboten wird eine Bavaria 25 sport für 14999 € aus Norwegen. Der Verkäufer gibt an, Manager einer großen Firma zu sein, bittet um Kommunikation auf Englisch und will die Frachtkosten übernehmen. Auch wenn ich das Boot nicht nehme. Ich habe 3 Tage zur Inspektion. Das Geld soll bei der Shipping Company hinterlegt werden und wird je nach Kauf oder Nichtkauf an ihn oder mich komplett zurück überwiesen. Der Verkäufer heißt nicht Tokra oder ähnlich und die Mails klangen für mich auch recht seriös. Kann mir da jemand helfen?

Hallo Petra,

ich sag Dir jetzt nicht, was ich letztes Jahr für meine Viper 243 bezahlt habe. Bei dem Preis ist das Boot entweder gar nicht existent oder ein Totalschaden. Und dann übernimmt der Verkäufer auch noch vorab die Transportkosten auch wenn Du das Boot nicht nimmst. Hier wird ein Dummer gesucht bei dem der Geiz das Gehirn gefressen hat. Da solltest Du Dich besser nicht in die Warteschlange stellen. Und selbst wenn das Boot ein Notverkauf aufgrund von akuten Finanzproblemen sein sollte wäre das zu dem Preis auch und gerade in Norwegen sofort weg. Der Text auf Bestboats hat übrigens ein paar interessante Fehler.

Ich hatte am gleichen Tag als die Anzeige geschaltet wurde hingeschrieben. Als es nach ein paar Tagen aber immer noch da war ........... da sind wir uns einig

Ich hatte ihm geschrieben, er möge mich bitte anrufen, denn ich wünschte ein persönliches Gespräch - nix. Am nächsten Tag schickte er eine Mail der Transport wäre angeleiert und wollte, daß ich das Geld (komplett!!!!) auf eine Bank in Spanien transferiere.

Spanien. Und er wohnt und arbeitet in Norwegen. Klar.

Ich habe die Fotos mit Schiffskennung und Motornummer drauf und zusätzlich beide Namen von der Polizei checken lassen. Die haben zwar ergeben, aber mir ist das trotzdem suspekt genug, um die Finger davon zu lassen.

He offered me a mini excavator from Norway.
And he also is willing to pay for the shipment cost. Even if I didn't want the excavator afterwards (3 days period) he was willing to retrieve it on his expense.

No idea if this is a scam or not.
I also asked him to call me. still waiting on his reply.

The website of this company is from 2019 (so just 2 years old). And when I'm looking on Google maps for this company, no machinery shop appears.

As said, I'm from The Netherlands, 54 years young and for those who like to visit Holland, I'm living in a small village called 'Buurmalsen'. Nice area, full of fruit trees, bicycle roads and nice spots to sit down and enjoy the view.

How did I came om this site.
Well I was looking for a person who is willing to sell me an mini excavator (from Norway). I couldn't find much about him, until I found this website.
I saw his name and a similar issue for one of the members.
So I was wondering how that member finally settled his deal with this guy.
Why...It sounds to good to be true.

I think this is all fake. No address, no phone number and only a mail address on the homepage which was registered in the USA by "eNom" as a privacy domain and why as privacy? I think that says it all!
Be careful with your money!

In regard of the purchase from Norway the following,

(I put all my investigation here below. Sorry it became a bit large).

I agreed on the purchase and went along to see what happens.... I was sent, within one day (!), an invoice and shipping info. The shipping was via eu-courier.com (an Germany company)..!
I surged for this company, but is doesn't exists (only as a website, which prohibited access to search engines, like Google).

The contact info in all the mentioned countries doesn't exist.

This is a prepaid service..(!) Strange for a company who does world wide delivery and transactions.
Even so, this Service company is located at:

Okay, it can have two address, but it's strange.

Furthermore, this info I found about this Payment company:

PFS Card Services Ireland Limited (“PCSIL”) is a fast growing technology company and e money payments institution with offices in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France and Malta.

And there we have Spain...(no Germany).

Well, I canceled this transaction due it looks nearly 99% as scam.

Why?
It's goes too fast via e-mail and too many unknowns.
1) how can you arrange a transport for an excavator within several hours and overnight. It's not possible to arrange transport so fast. It takes a few days for such a machine.
2) this guy is nowhere to find. Doesn't get in contact with you, even if you ask for it to call. Only e-mail contact.
3) This transport company is a mist of unknown. Not registered in Holland, Germany or Norway, though the website looks okay. Even if you enter your transfer code, it works......but only for yours, any other transfer code is rejected.
4) too many countries are seemly involved (Norway, Germany, Ireland), but all come out to Norway.
5) the trigger was Spain. The payment service method is 'strange' and that it goes thru Ireland... Even so it does only transaction with a few countries (i.e. Spain) and not Norway of Germany... And it's is a prepaid service. Why not a normal bank account as they pretend to be 'big companies'.


I think it's scam, but I have to say it's pretty well arranged.

You shouldn't even start thinking about transactions like that - keep it simple or forget it.
Otherwise loss of money ist guaranteed!
