Archimedes Motor

hi leute...

ich hätte zugang zu einen AB mit der Bezeichnung ARCHIMEDES ELECTOLOX e 30s!

kennt diesen motor wer?

hätte zwar schon gegoogelt aber nichts wirklich brauchbares gefunden!
hat schon jemand erfahrungen damit gemacht und wo bekommt man ersatzteile für das ding?

Bis ca. Mitte der 70er Jahre wurden die Motore unter dem Namen Cresent (Monark) gebaut, ab dann als Archimedes und noch später als Volvo Penta.

Ersatzteilversorgung soll zum Teil etwas schwierig (und teuer) sein.

Hallo Wolfgang,

der Electrolux (Archimedes) stammt noch von der Ära vor dem Zusammenschluss mit Crescent/Monark also vor 1967.
Der 30 PS ist ein Modell, welches später unter Crecsent nicht mehr hergestellt wurde. Daher auch keine Teile und Unterlagen...
Leider kann ich Dir keine guten Nachrichten bringen...

Sorry no idea where you can find it as PDF

All i have is the old ones printed on normal Paper...

too much work to scan each single sheet of it.

And there are nearly 0 Spare Parts availbe cause Volvo shut the assembly line around 1980...

Hi and many thanks for the info, I have found it hard to get parts but with time I have got them I just need the parts info to help with replacements if needed. I trust these engines run OK it sounds good at the moment.

Yep those engines were of the finest design and engineering...

At their time...

I loved them, we rebuild several hundert of the type 450 and type 250 for the german army engineers and navy (MC Divers mainly)
Still have a new engine block maybee a crackshaft and some gaskets here... but no ignition and reverse gear spare parts and no impeller..

Yes my friend this one pur's like a kitten, lovely engine pitty about the parts, does any other parts fit or is it throw away when finished.
