Need a help for right answer to a client
Background:
A couple weeks ago a person visited our presentation room in Stuttgart ( see http://www.boote-forum.de/showthread.php?t=77224 ). At that time, I was on a sailing trip in Sweden. I received information that this person would like to buy a Ducky-19. However, due to a negative experience with another firm, he needs to be sure that he can buy spare parts for his boat whenever he needs them. For demonstrate this, we must to show him a price list for all the parts we offer. I called him and he confirmed this requirement. We did not have that list at the time, because there hadn't been any requests for replacement parts from our customers in Europe. On our site, we listed separate prices for parts such as the centerboard, rudders, hulls, sails, transom board, transport bags, etc. (http://www.ducky.com.ua/index.php?op...mid=33&lang=en) but not for all parts of the boat. As a result, I requested this list from our main office in Ukraine. However, while waiting for the list from the Ukraine, I've received a new email from this potential customer with a request several parts of our boat. Below, you can see our email exchange. Hi,
I strongly suggest to leave this customer alone. He will only give you a hard time and will never be satisfied with your service. To deal with this customer is asking for trouble. We have distinct words for this type of clients in Germany, but I am not going to use them here in public. Good luck for you business.

Oh, he is spoiling for a fight... Never say die. Just ignore him.
A lot of spare parts are only available as replacement-parts. It´s normal business. You needn´t justify yourself. Travelling so far, that´s down his alley. Everyone to his taste.
