Gauges changen
Wenn ich die vorhandenen Ami-Armaturen (Fuel/Oil/Temp) gegen metrische tausche,
muss ich dann auch andere Geber installieren

Kommt drauf an.
Die Amianzeigen sind oftmals andersrum  gepolt.Heisst, Tank ist voll und die deutsche Anzeige sagt leer, Tank ist leer und die Anzeige zeigt voll. Abhilfe, Anzeigen auf dem Kopf gestellt einbauen.

Schau mal hier, die Anzeigen werden hier einmal mit Zusatz VDO und einmal ohne angeboten.

also ich denk die Öl- und wassertemp. sind beide gegen Masse mit einem Kaltleiter (PTC) gemessen.
Da müsstest du nur am Sensor gegen Masse messen und schauen ob die Widerstände gleich sind

und ich dachte der Meister der spitzen Worte und des Scheibenkleisterns hätte dir welche aus Amiland besorgt.
Cyrus hatte neulich VDO-Instrumente im Angebot, waren aber EURO-Norm und harmonierten somit nicht mit meinen Amigebern. Gruß Ralf

Aso. Also Uhren von VDO sind schonmal nicht mit Amibooten kompatibel, oder wat?
Auch nicht mit anderen Gebern? Es gibt also Armaturen die sich unter keinen Umständen an meinem Boot/Motor/Tank betreiben lassen Zitat:

was ist gegen diese Instrumente einzuwenden, sehen doch gut aus ... ich dachte immer Faria ist doch auch kein Gelumpe ?? (kosten in D z.b. http://webshop.fa-bo-tech.de/index.php?list=KAT714 )

Hallo Peda,
in der Welli hab ich die gleichen Instrumente verbaut.Die Trimmanzeigen können für Volvo und Merc Anlagen unterschiedlich sein. Was mich stört ist die Angabe metric bei einigen Anzeigen in deiner Auflistung.
